art's our Cause
The Roadrunner Race for the Arts is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, with 100% of the race proceeds supporting arts programming for local youth. We collaborate with schools to offer additional opportunities for students in both performing and visual arts. While living in a small, remote community has its many benefits, it can also present challenges. By participating in the race, you help provide young people with valuable exposure to a variety of artistic experiences and creative outlets, ensuring they have access to meaningful opportunities for expression.
why art?
Art is truly powerful and essential! It’s something everyone can benefit from. Some people express themselves through art, and we’re dedicated to helping them discover their true voice, so they can experience the fulfillment and validation that comes with authentic expression. We want to hear their stories and see their creativity unfold! Art is a core part of what it means to be human, and we want to inspire our youth to explore it, embrace it, create it, perform it, and, most importantly, love it!

Santa Rosa is a desert oasis, offering breathtaking views and courses nestled by the water. Whether you're coming with friends or family, make it a weekend to remember. After the race, take a refreshing plunge in the Blue Hole and spend the rest of the day soaking in the beauty and unique charm of our town. We’re excited to see you and share all that Santa Rosa has to offer!
